TL;DR

  • Vottun Bridge IPO is open. The Qubic-to-Ethereum bridge launches on mainnet April 2nd with wrapped Qubic and Uniswap liquidity pools.

  • Dogecoin mining on track for April 1st. The dispatcher is live this epoch. Computors can already pick up test tasks.

  • Second peer-reviewed Neuraxon paper accepted for a Berlin conference with Scopus indexing. That brings Qubic to two accepted papers in peer-reviewed scientific venues. Few crypto projects can point to independent validation at this level.

  • Two new conference submissions in progress. One targets the ALife Conference in Vancouver, the leading venue for artificial life research. The other targets the AGI Conference in San Francisco, a nearly twenty-year-old institution at the center of artificial general intelligence research.

  • Network tick speed nearly doubled to 0.6 seconds after the latest core optimization shipped.

  • 150+ Network Guardian nodes active in Epoch 204, up from 34 two weeks ago. Incentive changes coming to push global distribution.

  • Doge marketing pre-launch is live. Blog content, ambassador sprints, a Tier 1 press release, and a March 30th AMA are queued for the April 1st mainnet launch.

Joetom led the March 19th All-Hands, walking through updates from every active department across the Qubic network. The session landed during a strong stretch for the project: two computor proposals approved in a single week, a second peer-reviewed paper accepted, the Vottun Bridge reaching IPO, and Dogecoin mining entering its final pre-launch window. Here is what moved and what comes next.

Neuraxon Scientific Team Updates

Two Peer-Reviewed Papers Accepted

The scientific team secured approval on both computor proposals submitted this cycle, funding continued AGI research through the current trimester.

The standout news: a second paper has been accepted for presentation at a conference in Berlin in May. This paper covers Neuraxon V2.0, the expanded version of Qubic's brain-inspired AI model. Where the original Neuraxon modeled a single computational neuron, Neuraxon II connects multiple units into a network that processes information the way different regions of the brain collaborate. The paper will be indexed in both IEEE Xplore and Scopus, one of the world's largest scientific databases. That kind of indexing puts Qubic's AI and blockchain research in front of a much wider academic audience and builds the third-party validation that sets this project apart from others claiming AI capabilities.

The first accepted paper, focused on Neuraxon's trinary logic system (a three-state approach to neural computation that goes beyond simple on/off binary signals), heads to AMLDS 2026 at Kansai University in Osaka, Japan on July 21-23 under IEEE. A funding proposal for Berlin goes live for computor vote soon.

Upcoming Conference Submissions

Conference

Topic

Deadline

ALife (Vancouver)

Testing Neuraxon adaptation in a Game of Life artificial life environment

~March 30th

AGI Conference (San Francisco)

Predictive coding through multi-neuraxon architectures

Mid-April

ALife is the primary venue for artificial life research. The AGI Conference has run for nearly twenty years and draws the core community working toward decentralized AGI and artificial general intelligence.

Why does this scientific track matter? During the Q&A, David and Jose addressed it directly: very few crypto protocols have peer-reviewed papers published in recognized scientific venues. Every accepted paper creates a reference point that other researchers can build on, and every conference presentation puts the work in front of professionals who evaluate AI systems for a living.

New Tools and Educational Content

The Multi-Neuraxon interactive demo is fully public on Hugging Face, with code on GitHub and a YouTube walkthrough. Users can build multi-neuraxon networks, control information flow between nodes, and export brain configurations as JSON.

The latest Neuraxon Intelligence Academy article (Vol. 5) covers astrocytes. In plain terms: astrocytes are brain cells that act as gatekeepers, deciding when connections between neurons are allowed to strengthen or change. In the Neuraxon model, this translates to a gating mechanism that controls whether a learning update should proceed, slow down, or stop. This tackles one of the toughest problems in AI: letting a system learn new things without forgetting what it already knows.

The team confirmed full alignment with CFB and the Aigarth team on Qubic network integration. A proposal to begin training Neuraxon on the network is expected within the coming weeks, likely once the Doge launch stabilizes.

Core Tech Updates

Highlights and Budget

Joetom opened with three highlights. The QBridge (Vottun Bridge) smart contract was approved and entered IPO. Network Guardians surged to 150+ active nodes in Epoch 204. And community contributions have been strong, including open-source pull requests fixing bugs and constructive input on the Doge integration. Qubic ranked fifth across all crypto projects with a 84% increase in developer activity on GitHub, a metric that reflects a bigger increase in developer activity in the last 30-days than any other chain. This = proof of progress.

The core technology budget for Q2 2026 was approved at approximately $100K per month, with roughly half allocated to core development. Full details are on GitHub.

Expanding to cover oracle machines, Doge, and outsourced computing

The tick speed improvement matters for anyone watching Qubic's L1 blockchain performance. Before the contract state management update, each tick took about one second. That's now 0.6 seconds, creating headroom as transaction volume grows.

Dogecoin CPU mining serves as the real-world stress test for Qubic's outsourced computing infrastructure. It validates that oracle machines can handle share validation at scale and that the network backbone supports genuine UPoW load. From an architecture perspective, Doge exercises two of Qubic's three infrastructure pillars: the smart contract engine and the oracle machine engine.

Incubation Updates

Qbridge (Vottun Bridge): Qubic Meets Ethereum

The Vottun Bridge IPO is open now through next Wednesday's epoch change. Bids go directly through the Qubic wallet. On April 2nd, the team expects to launch on open mainnet, execute the first transaction, and open Uniswap liquidity pools.

The initial bridge is one-directional: lock Ethereum, receive wrapped Qubic. During the Q&A, Mr. Rose explained that the team deliberately chose this approach. The priority right now is pulling liquidity into the Qubic ecosystem. Bi-directional support and USDT functionality are on the development roadmap. For business development, Kimz noted this bridge removes one of his most recurring challenges when pitching the Qubic network to external partners: EVM compatibility.

Solana Bridge and Nostromo

The Solana Bridge is in QA on its second milestone, with both smart contracts complete. The dev team shifted testing to Qubic Lite Core. The timeline points toward a summer launch.

Nostromo is paused while the incubation board and dev team align on strategy. The board's guidance: prioritize product-market fit before expanding features.

Business Development Updates

The Qubic Event Calendar is live at qubic.org under Ecosystem. Community members can view planned 2026 events, submit new ones, and vote on attendance priorities across three pillars: brand exposure, developer onboarding, and AI research.

Fiat Ramps: Three providers identified. The team is awaiting confirmation that none restrict listing $Qubic. Once cleared, integration across all three would take one to two months.

BANXA Wallet Integration: A community vote on integrating credit card purchases into the Qubic mobile wallet crypto experience sits at 75% yes, 13% no, 11% undecided. Kimz invited anyone weighing the decision to post questions in the channel.

Kimz also acknowledged that members in some regions face access challenges due to compliance and USDT availability. The team is actively pursuing solutions to ensure every community member has a reasonable path to acquiring $Qubic coin.

Governance Framework Updates

The finance auditing entity search is expanding after initial conversations revealed pricing disproportionate to the workload. The team is exploring firms in other regions and has opened the role to any qualified community member with financial disclosure experience. This is a paid position.

The Strategic Board computor election is ahead of schedule. Four candidates remain: Andrew, X, Cabe, Gabel, and ZGirt (Jetski was nominated but declined). Quorum proposals go up Saturday, March 21st. Computors vote Wednesday, March 25th. Three seats are available alongside workgroup leads and advisors.

Marketing Updates

Organic Growth Accelerating

Organic impressions on X and LinkedIn hit 2 million by March 18th, already matching February's full-month total with eleven days remaining. Combined with paid media, total impressions reached approximately 15 million. SEO health climbed to 95 out of 100.

Doge Marketing Pre-Launch

The full Doge marketing plan was approved and is now executing. Ambassador social sprints and the Reddit engagement plan are active. Four blog posts are finalized. A Tier 1 press release is confirmed for April 1st. A dedicated Doge mining launch AMA is scheduled for March 30th. A soft promotion campaign across Doge-related accounts launched the day of the All-Hands.

Qubic trended on X five times this past week and ranked among the top AI blockchain projects by social activity.

What's Next

April 1st: Dogecoin mining mainnet launch. April 2nd: Vottun Bridge live with Uniswap pools. March 25th: Strategic Board computor vote. March 30th: Doge mining AMA. The science team pushes toward Berlin and Osaka while preparing two new conference submissions.

These workstreams are converging. As Kimz put it at the close: the stars are starting to align. The next All-Hands is in two weeks. RSVP here
