TL;DR

QBridge is live and connecting the Qubic network to Ethereum. First week produced 1,146 transactions and roughly 20.77B QUs in volume through ETH/wQUBIC and USDC/wQUBIC liquidity pools on Uniswap v4.

Dogecoin mining on Qubic entered Phase 2 of the migration. Average hashrate climbed from ~1.8 TH/s in Epoch 207 to ~2.7 TH/s in Epoch 208, with a same-day peak of 15.81 TH/s on April 16.

Network throughput is operating at scale. The last epoch processed approximately 165 million user transactions, or over 270 tx/s sustained. On a 7-day rolling basis, Qubic would rank around #3 among the most-used blockchains on Chainspect.

Two scientific papers are in review. Submissions to ALIFE 2026 (Waterloo, August) and AGI-26 (San Francisco, July). Neuraxon Game of Life Lite 4.5 shipped with new audio capabilities for AI agents.

Qubic governance framework is nearing full operational status. A finance auditing entity candidate is under Strategic Board review, with a CCF proposal to follow.

Business development pipeline is diversifying. WEEX and Blofin proposals under listing board review. Banxa wallet integration in progress. Holyheld, OneKey, Token Terminal, and a top-tier Doge mining pool in active discussion.

The April 16, 2026 All-Hands kicked off with part of the team and community joining live from Paris Blockchain Week. The agenda focused on what moved across Core Tech, QBridge, Scientific, Governance, Business Development, Marketing, and Dogecoin mining on the Qubic network.

Core Tech: Qubic Network Processing Blockchain-Scale Traffic

The core tech team continued heads-down on the Dogecoin mining migration through the past two weeks. Written update highlights:

  • Core optimizations and bug fixes across the codebase

  • Log event integrations successfully launched

  • Multiple smart contract reviews completed

  • Client tool updates for the Qubic wallet and Qubic Explorer

Qubic Network Usage at Scale

The last epoch processed approximately 165 million user transactions, which translates to over 270 transactions per second sustained across the entire epoch. On Chainspect's 7-day rolling TPS dashboard, that would place Qubic at around #3 among the most-used blockchains, behind ICP (1,325 tx/s) and Solana (1,052 tx/s). The figure reinforces Qubic's CertiK-verified performance as the fastest Layer 1 blockchain and signals what the network is capable of as adoption scales.

QBridge: The Qubic Bridge to Ethereum Is Live

QBridge reached mainnet and opened to the public, connecting Qubic to the Ethereum ecosystem for the first time. The Qubic bridge operates through a standard lock-and-mint mechanism: Qubic to Ethereum locks native QUBIC in a smart contract and mints wQubic on Ethereum, and the reverse direction burns wQubic and releases the native token. One-to-one in both directions.

Two liquidity pools are active on Uniswap v4:

Sergi (Marcos on Discord), product manager on the Vottun bridge team, walked through the mechanics and current status. Some timing lag occurs when the network indexer runs behind, because the bridge backend waits for tick confirmation across its three-step process before advancing. A safeguard stores every transaction in a database and refunds fees charged on failed transactions.

Support runs Monday through Friday Spanish time via the Discord ticket channel.

What Comes Next for QBridge

  • UX and performance improvements based on community feedback

  • Expansion of Qubic ecosystem liquidity

  • Addition of new assets and integrations

Scientific Team: Two AI Research Papers Submitted, Neuraxon Audio Shipped

David Vivancos and Dr. Jose Sanchez presented the scientific team update. Two papers have been submitted, and a new version of Neuraxon Game of Life Lite is live.

Paper 1: Artificial Life 2026 (Waterloo, August 17–21)

The paper has been submitted to the 2026 Conference on Artificial Life. ALIFE is a tier-one venue for research on synthetic and biological life, and a natural fit for Qubic's work on Aigarth and Neuraxon. Reviewer feedback is expected around mid-June.

Paper 2: AGI-26 (San Francisco, July 27–30)

The second paper covers the MultiNeuraxon architecture and includes benchmarks, experiments, and ablations on continual learning (Phase A/B/C retention testing with state reset between phases). Submitted to the 19th Annual Conference on Artificial General Intelligence.

Separately, Qubic submitted a sponsorship proposal for AGI-26 that was not accepted on the first round. The sponsorship proposal will be revised based on reviewer feedback and resubmitted within days. AGI-26 is also where the AGI investor ecosystem gathers, including partners like SingularityNET and the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance. Even without a sponsorship slot, a peer-reviewed MultiNeuraxon paper on the conference program would give Qubic a presence at the event.

Neuraxon Game of Life Lite 4.5 Released

The new build adds audio modalities to Neuraxon agents. Each agent now hears, produces a signature sound, and inherits sound traits from parents and peers. Agents with similar sound signatures tend to cluster together, an emergent behavior rather than a scripted rule. Users can select any agent in the live build to inspect its Bio, Brain, and Chem panels, including real-time tones, musicality scores, and songs learned.

Audio joins the existing sensory channels: vision, proprioception, and tactile sensing. Each new sense broadens the learning signal available to the agent. This is the Lite build. The research build is in development.

Neuraxon Intelligence Academy Vol. 6

Volume 6 of the Neuraxon Intelligence Academy focuses on consciousness through the lens of Global Workspace Theory. A follow-on article engages with recent comments from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on AGI and analyzes a new Google DeepMind paper on cognitive frameworks. The Qubic team's position differs from DeepMind's on whether cognitive abilities are separate modules or hierarchically organized.

What Comes Next for the Scientific Team

  • NeurIPS submission due early May after the release date moved earlier than expected

  • MultiNxon model and additional Game of Life versions

  • Qiner network training collaboration with Core Dev, beginning once Dogecoin mining stabilizes (targeted for May)

Governance: Finance Auditing Entity in Final Review

A candidate for the finance auditing entity has been identified and meets the stated requirements. The full proposal has been forwarded to the Strategic Board for review and feedback. Next step: incorporate board feedback and submit the CCF proposal.

With the auditing entity confirmed, most governance entities will be filled and the Qubic governance framework becomes fully operational. Some Strategic Board advisory seats remain open, and the search continues in parallel. Completion is expected to be announced at the next All-Hands.

Business Development: Exchanges, Fiat Ramps, Payment Rails, and Events

Kimz delivered the business development update across exchanges, fiat on-ramps, card payments, and upcoming events.

Exchange Listings

Proposals from WEEX and Blofin are with the listing board. Conversations with top-tier exchanges have resumed, with the strategy of timing any listing to coincide with a major market catalyst.

Fiat On-Ramps for the Qubic Network

The OnRamper discussion reached its limits, and the team moved to alternative routes. Banxa is already operating on its own platform. Integration into the Qubic web wallet, app wallet, and browser extension is work-in-progress with the integration team. Two additional ramp providers are preparing full proposals, chosen together to cover more of the U.S., Europe, LATAM, and Southeast Asia than any single provider would.

Card Payments and Hardware Wallets

A productive meeting with Holyheld, a European crypto-to-debit-card service, produced a clear path forward. One dependency is the establishment of a liquidity pool around the $500K mark in USDT or equivalent. A conversation with OneKey, positioned as a competitor to Ledger, is also open as a redundancy play.

Visibility

Token Terminal is preparing a proposal. The platform standardizes financial metrics used by institutions, funds, and researchers. A Qubic listing there adds both credibility and analytics visibility.

Doge Mining Infrastructure

Discussions opened with a top-tier Doge mining pool. First meeting was introductory. The second will go technical, covering onboarding to the Qubic Dogecoin mining architecture.

Event Pipeline

  • Hong Kong Web3 Festival — covered by community members

  • ICLMT 2026 (Berlin) — scientific team presenting

  • AMLDS 2026 (Osaka) — scientific team presenting

  • Korea Blockchain Week 2026 — working group priority given the size of the Korean crypto market

  • AGI-26 — revised sponsorship proposal in progress

Qubic BD Strategy

The plan Kimz outlined has six components: prioritize high-impact exchange listings timed to catalysts, leverage flagship regional crypto events as pipeline accelerators, build university and developer anchors in top tech hubs, expand fiat on-ramp coverage across APAC, the U.S., LATAM, and the EU, enable card-payment rails for markets without direct exchange access, and establish local community and ecosystem partnerships to sustain growth.

Marketing: Organic Output Carried the Period

X ads were paused in early April due to a platform-side issue with the ads interface. They are live again as of the All-Hands. During the paused window, the internal content team increased organic output, and the metrics held up. Qubic's coverage continues to compound on top of the Dogecoin mining launch earlier in April.

28-Day Organic Performance (ending April 14)

The verified-follower count sits at 9.1K out of 96.5K total followers.

Qubic's rank among Doge mining pools moved from around #20–21 last week to #17 on the morning of the All-Hands. Full stats at doge-stats.qubic.org. The migration plan continues to follow the framework laid out in the Dogecoin mining transition plan and the Phase 1 launch recap.

Q&A Highlights

On buybacks. The buyback mechanism is a live topic in the community. For full technical detail on how DOGE mining revenue flows through stablecoin conversion into QUBIC buybacks, see the Qubic Dogecoin Mining Transition Plan. Ongoing discussions happen in the Qubic Discord mining channel.

On reverse token splits. A community member asked whether Qubic might consider a reverse token split given the 200 trillion supply, noting that some crypto projects reduce supply at ratios like 1:5 or 1:10. Kimz will look into the question and respond directly on Discord.

On bridge liquidity. Deep liquidity is the explicit priority. USDC/wQUBIC and ETH/wQUBIC pools launched together for this reason. A Solana bridge is on track for mid-summer, and the BD pipeline is structured around the integrations that will deepen those pools.

What Comes Next for the Qubic Network

The next two weeks focus on follow-through. Phase 3 of the Dogecoin migration is expected to begin. The revised AGI-26 sponsorship proposal goes back in. The NeurIPS submission goes out in early May. QBridge continues to add liquidity and assets. The governance framework is on track for full operational status. BD continues conversations with ramp providers, listing partners, and the Doge mining pool.

Momentum is compounding across every track.
