LESSON 7

Finality Without Waiting

Many blockchains take multiple confirmations to finalize a transaction. Some forks are possible if competing chains emerge.

Qubic doesn’t rely on probabilistic finality.

A tick is finalized once 451 Computors agree:

The data is confirmed

It’s recorded in the ledger

It can’t be rolled back or overwritten

Once finalised, it’s permanent.
