From October 7 to 9, 2025, Qubic will be present at MERGE Madrid, Spain's largest Web3 event. With over 3,000 expected participants, this participation marks a turning point in the protocol's expansion toward Spanish-speaking and Latin American communities.
MERGE Madrid: A Strategic Showcase for Blockchain Protocols
MERGE Madrid has established itself as Spain's flagship Web3 event, attracting developers, investors, and entrepreneurs from across the Ibero-American region. The 2025 edition takes place from October 7 to 9 in the heart of the Spanish capital, with a program centered on artificial intelligence, decentralized finance (DeFi), and next-generation blockchain infrastructures.

Qubic Event Calendar:
"AI & Blockchain" Roundtable: The Strategic Alliance
On Thursday, October 9 at 5:00 PM, Alber, Qubic's Ecosystem and Partnerships Lead, will participate in a roundtable on the Binance Main Stage. The theme: "AI & Blockchain: Unlocking the Next Generation of Financial Services."
This intervention aims to position Qubic as the most innovative platform for new financial services, highlighting its unique AI strategy and decentralized computing power. At a time when financial institutions are exploring AI applications, Qubic offers an infrastructure that combines blockchain security and advanced computational capabilities, a rare dual advantage in the crypto ecosystem.
"Shaping AI's Destiny" Keynote: The Long-Term Vision
At 3:20 PM on the CAM Builders Stage, Joobid, CEO of Kairos-tek and leader of Qubic's Spanish-speaking community will deliver a keynote titled "Qubic: Shaping AI's Destiny Through Decentralized Networks."
This speech extends the narrative developed at Token2049, the sector's major event held in Singapore in September. The objective: demonstrate how Qubic structures a decentralized network capable of supporting the computational loads required by modern AI models, without depending on centralized cloud giants (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
Kairos EasyConnect at MERGE Startup Contest: Incubation in Action
Joobid will also represent EasyConnect, a solution developed by Kairos-tek, in the MERGE Startup Contest. Semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, October 8 between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, with a final scheduled for Thursday, October 9 at 2:20 PM on the Binance Main Stage.
EasyConnect was born from the MAD Hack, a hackathon where the project won first place. This solution enables seamless integration of Qubic into no-code platforms, drastically reducing entry barriers for developers not specialized in blockchain.
A Side Event to Win Over Developers
Beyond the official program, Qubic is organizing a crucial parallel event: the MERGE Madrid Tech Summit, on Friday, October 10 at 6:20 PM.
Hosted in the Main Hall (4th floor) of the IE Tower at IE University, this keynote directly targets 300 developers and tech professionals. IE Business School, ranked among the best European business schools, attracts a high-level audience composed of entrepreneurs, engineers, and researchers.
Advantage for Qubic
For QUBIC token holders, this geographical expansion means:
Network diversification of validators and developers, strengthening decentralization
New use cases emerging from markets with different needs (remittances, inclusive financial services)
Increased visibility among European and Latin American institutional investors
For developers, the emphasis on no-code tools (EasyConnect) and technical events (Tech Summit) reduces the technical frictions that slow adoption of complex protocols.
