What Are Computors?

Qubic uses a fixed set of 676 Computors — specialized nodes that validate transactions, check AI computations from miners, and vote on whether each tick is valid.

They don’t mine. They don’t stake. They don’t compete for fees.

Instead, they reach consensus collectively by reviewing activity in each tick and submitting a vote. The network finalizes ticks based on those votes.
