What Qubic Does Instead
Qubic removed the waste.
Instead of solving arbitrary puzzles, Qubic miners perform Useful Proof of Work (UPoW). That means:
Running small pieces of machine learning jobs
Training AI models
Doing tasks that contribute to a larger system (Aigarth)
Each task contributes real value. Miners in Qubic are helping Aigarth learn, without the need to secure the network (more on that later).
