MINING EDITION

MODULE 2

LESSON 1

Overview – AI Training & External Mining

AI Training Mode (Qubic default):

Uses CPU cycles to train neural networks and validate computation

Rewards paid in $QUBIC one epoch after work is done

External Mining Mode:

Switch to other networks during low-reward epochs

Common choice: XMR mining for consistent payouts

Switching between Qubic and external mining (e.g. XMR) is automated by the miner.

Can be toggled in miner settings or via scripts

Why Switch?

Keeps your CPU earning 24/7

Smooths your income

Allows you to tap into multiple ecosystems

PRO TIP

XMR is the most common external option because it’s CPU-minable and integrates well with Qubic miners.

Switching between Qubic and XMR was previously set to occur every 676 ticks automatically.
