Celebrating the Approval of the 8% Emission Reallocation: A Bright Future Ahead for Qubic 

We are delighted to announce that the proposal to re-allocate 8% of weekly emissions to the Computor Controlled Fund (CCF) has officially been voted through. This decision is one that ensures a sustainable future for Qubic, attracts more developers, and empowers the community to drive innovation and growth.

The approval of the 8% emission re-allocation demonstrates the power of community-driven governance. Miners and Computors have been asked to re-allocate 8% of their rewards to our Computor Controlled Fund (CCF) to ensure that the ecosystem continues to thrive and expand.

But why do we need this funding to move things forward? Qubic was fair-launched with no venture capital (VC) backing. Unlike many projects that rely on large sums of money from institutional investors, Qubic is entirely community-funded. This means that without contributions like the 8% re-allocation, there are no external funds to tap into. The CCF is vital to ensure we can fund the development, marketing, and growth initiatives necessary to keep the ecosystem thriving. 

A Future Built on Innovation

With the 8% re-allocation in place, the CCF will provide much-needed funding for several critical areas, many of which have been funded in the past, such as marketing budgets, employee salaries, and ecosystem development, as outlined in this blog post. Going forward, the CCF will also support the following key initiatives:

Grants will be awarded to individuals and teams who propose tools, applications, or contributions that benefit the community and strengthen and create a vibrant Qubic ecosystem.

3. Increased Exposure and Marketing
   As the CCF supports ongoing marketing efforts, it will increase exposure for the project. This includes expanding Qubic’s reach, bringing in new investors, and increasing engagement from current QUBIC holders. Marketing will play a key role in ensuring that Qubic remains visible in an increasingly competitive space.

4. Attracting New Investors and Listings
   The re-allocation will also help attract more investment to the project, as the funds enable Qubic to secure additional exchange listings and build confidence among both existing holders and potential investors.
