Key Contributions to the Crypto Industry

Karin is a pioneering legal expert with over 15 years of experience in financial markets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain regulation. She is also a founding partner of Scale Compliance, a payment and compliance service provider for the crypto industry. She has played a key role in several high-profile projects, including advising the first bank to offer crypto assets in 2017 as an inhouse counsel, guiding numerous blockchain startups and banks in the space, and leading regulatory efforts for a major private bank.

As an AML/KYC specialist, Karin is also a respected lecturer at the University of Zurich and other institutions, sharing her expertise in blockchain and financial market law.
